Including Cyprus as an Asian country is, while possibly not techinically wrong, quite misleading. It is well understood that the dividing line is in the Turkish straits, and Cyprus is indeed closest geographically to Asia (and also Africa before mainland Europe). But historically, culturally and politically, Cyprus is very much in Europe.
It might be better to add a caveat to the question, excluding Cyprus altogether, and including India in its place.
