o should be accepted instead of the ð character because many users do not have access to it on their keyboard (I understand that it's a completely different character, not simply an accent on the o, however it's the closest we have.)
Its a version of d not of o. Its comparable to the english th and is sometimes transliterated as dh. So d, dh and th should be acceptable as Type-In but not o.
