When you say he/she is not smarter than people who like popular things, do you mean the smartest person in that group or the average person in that group? I'm pretty sure that average person who cares about Kim Kardashian isn't very smart, maybe average. I'm also pretty sure that average Jetpunk user is at least slightly above average. It is sad that Kim Kardashian is so high on the list..

Perhaps it's because of Indians and other Asians thinking of working abroad and reading up on Singapore? Considering where India stands, Indians seem to make up a significant part of English Wikipedia users.

I think it's because Singapore is super advanced and people want to learn a lot about what such a well developed society is like. I've googled it maybe twice before and I spent like 10 minutes looking at one page about certain laws in the country because I think it's a very interesting place.

Friends certainly remained popular well beyond its air time and I also tried it, but this only goes back to 2007. Searching for information on HIMYM probably only beats a show like Friends due to the date range.

It is totally subjective but it HIMYM beats friends in terms of quality also. Friends could beat it any day in terms of popularity but whatever anyone says it's references are getting old and the jokes don't seem funny anymore. If anyone thinks that friends is better and it is the show for them then I respect your opinion, I just wanted to put it out there because I watched both these shows recently.

It's very weird to see Hitler ranked up so high.
