Type a world capital to make its piece appear. Pieces with no capitals will be revealed when their closest piece with a capital is shown - note that the 'closest' piece is measured in number of blocks away, not actual distance! This means that capitals will tend to span 'horizontally'
The following 'non-obvious' capitals are used: Colombo, La Paz, Porto-Novo, Pretoria
Hey, do you realise that if you set answer type-ins to "contains", rather than "starts with" each answer, that will solve the problem where answers like Tallinn and Riyadh are accepted but leave the final letter in the answer box, causing future answers to not be accepted because the first letter messed up the rest of they answer? I've also written to the Quizmaster to point this out.
yes I see what you mean! but perhaps it should be limited to just 1 letter (so ([A-Z])?Paris for example, I think) otherwise they might be 'side effects' although I'm not too sure which ones (eg you could have a string with names of all countries of the world and just paste it to solve quizzes and get 100% on your 1 minute sprint version!)
