See at first I thought it mean like Sea Bass..... ha yeah that threw me through a loop. Then I realized they meant like bass as in beat but for some stupid reason I tried "the trebles" instead of the sopranos. Just not my question to get right.
Did you watch the American remake or the original Korean version? As with most American remakes of foreign films they completely botched it, the Korean version is fantastic.
I actually kind of enjoyed Oldboy (the original, I never saw the Spike Lee version), even though it is very disturbing to watch and I can see why someone may not like it. The hallway fight scene is easily the best part of the movie.
That was the only I got that I wouldn't have got from the antonym, because for some reason my mum loves it (despite being British and I'm pretty sure no one else that I know having heard of it)
I was stopped at 3:00 in the morning on the way to work a couple of weeks ago by a tough guy cop who had no reason to pull me over. He repeatedly demanded an explanation as to why I was out at that time of the night and would not accept the answer I gave him. Even though it was none of his damn business, I poIitely explained that I do not have a set work schedule and wanted to travel downtown before morning traffic started and then leave work before afternoon traffic started. After passing three different field sobriety tests, he let me go but followed me for over ten miles and watched me get out of my car, unlock the door to my building, and go inside. He then spent the next two hours illegally parked in front of the building staring through the glass.
Meanwhile, I am sure that actual crime was being radioed in and he he was "too busy" to respond. This isnt the only incident I have had, only the most recent. There are too many stories like this and several that are vastly worse.
I have also come across some very good cops. Unfortunately, there aren't enough of those guys to make up for the rotten bastards that are out there. If you want evidence of this, look at the quiz on numbers of people imprisoned by country that was featured a day or two ago. We have too many people incarcerated to call ourselves the land of the free. This is a product of overzealous policing and over aggressive sentencing. In training, the emphasis needs to be on "protect and serve". Procedures need to be set in motion to mete out punishment when instances of "threaten and harass" occur.
For these kinds of quizzes, the opposite-gender version of something is usually considered an "antonym" (see: boy/girl). And if you're trying to say that a monk isn't exactly a male nun . . . well, shoot, I'd say it's close enough for government work.
I agree, "monk" is not an antonym for "nun." The only thing that is opposite about the terms is gender. Maybe not the best choice of a show to use in this quiz...not like there aren't enough other shows to choose from.
This was fun. However, it is sad that every quiz I see the same few names fighting in the comments to try and prove who is smarter, who is better travelled, and so on. Why? So annoying to keep seeing the smug attitudes of some on here. It's just a quiz site, we do this for pleasure not to battle egos! If you want to impress people try being nice and not condescending. Don't be so serious and rude, your opinions on what is good/bad are not facts. Lighten up and stop inflicting the worst aspects of your personality on everyone.

and all the sinners saints.
Perhaps try "Gregarious?"
You should make a quiz like this but inverted, so we see the real tv show and then guess what tv show it is. Much easier.
