That's what it was called when we went into the movie. Here it is. Three Men and a Baby was an Americanised semi-copy that was only half as good (though to be fair people usually think the first version of anything they see is the best one)
To be fair in America most peoply only see the American version so for us there isn't anything to compare it to so we don't care if it is better or not.
Totally lucked out with The Squid and the Whale. Whale was just the first thing that popped into my head. I still don't know what the movie is. I've never heard of it.
It's a really really nice movie. Also it has Johnny Depp as Benny. I am always amazed it's not more widely known, it deserves it. (Not because of Depp, but just because it's nice.)
Easy, got them all! Other good ones would be "McCabe & Mrs. Miller," "Fox and His Friends," "Sawdust and Tinsel," "Fanny and Alexander," "Crimes and Misdemeanors," "High and Low." Which are better movies than 99% of the ones on here, too!
I went browsing through the results so I could find a "why don't more people know this" movie, when I found one just the opposite. It is good to see only 50% know The Quick and the Dead. What a stinker. And yes, every time it comes on I watch the whole thing.
I pronounced Starsky as "star sky" in my mind's voice and missed it because of that. I've listened to Hypnotize by Biggie too much to forgive myself for missing it, lol.
