yeah, but too bad all of Canada's beers that have any chance of widespread international recognition are our worst beers :(

Molson Canadian = piss

Pilsner = Farmer piss

Kokkanee = Yeti Piss

Red Stripe is actually made in the United States, not Jamaica. It is brewed and bottled in Pennsylvania. Read the label next time you have one. It is a Jamaican "Style" lager, not actually Jamaican.

Try reading the label in Jamaica. Most international brands have agreements with local brewers for bottling and/or brewing

Despite Victoria Bitter being probably Australia's biggest selling full-strength beer, it's one of the worst

Oh come on, VB's not all that bad. It's no Boags, but it'll do on a hot day.

Imagine picking Boags as your example of an excellent Australian beer.

It's brewed in both places for various markets, so it can be considered Jamaican.

Likewise if you read the label on a Heineken in New Zealand you will find it is made in New Zealand. But that doesn't make it a New Zealand beer - just that the trademark owner in the Netherlands have sold franchise rights to make it in various places.

I'm a beer drinker, also, but didn't do well on this quiz. Maybe I should try something else once in awhile besides Bud/Bud Light.

You should definitely try something other than bud. I wouldn't bother drinking if that was all that was available

Love that Tui was included, they have the best billboard ads!

Victoria Bitter...urgh....it's what Australians drink when there is nothing else and they're already drunk and can't taste it!

Feel dumb for missing Singha. I missed 5 and I always do badly on quizzes for alcoholics but I knew I had seen Singha many many times and guessed almost every other country I've spent time in in East Asia. But I missed the one I've spent more time in than anywhere else aside from the Philippines.

Why is Holland not an acceptable type in for the Dutch beer?

I appreciate the country name is the Netherlands, but the two names are used interchangeably in Britain.

And people call someone from scotland (or even ireland) an englishman. But it isnt correct.

As I said in my original post, the two names are used interchangeably. I lived there for 18 months and heard many Dutch people refer to the country as “Holland”.

It’s also a type in on all most every other quiz on Jet Punk.

So, do me a favour and keep your smart arse comments to yourself.

Weird choice for the German beer. Hacker-Pschorr is more of a local beer in Munich and isn't really known outside of Bavaria that much. The brewery is owned by the Paulaner group so you could've just used Paulaner beer instead because every German knows that one. Other well known German beers include Warsteiner, Jever, Krombacher, Bitburger, Becks, Eichbaum, Oettinger, Veltins, Radeberger, Rothaus, Hasseröder, Erdinger, etc.

Agreed. I'm a Northern German and have never heard of Hacker Pschorr. At first I was very confused (and a bit insulted) that there's no German beer on this list until I figured it out. Maybe it's supposed to be a bit tricky?

Good idea for a quiz, one that you can do in a pub. Well done.

May I suggest Quilmes, a very decent beer from Argentina?

I must agree with those of you who say that Victoria Bitter is a horrible example of an Australian beer.

As for budweiser, it's what Australians drink when they've given up drinking.
