AC/DC more than ABBA? Really.

AC/DC stills puts out albums. ABBA, not so much.

AC/DC is huge.

How about David Bowie for D or Frank Sinatra for F. I think you need to do more research and unfortunately, I think ABBA is more than AC/DC by a long shot.

ABBA is a lot more than ACDC but sales do not mean they are more talented obviously. That one should be changed. I also think Genesis and Garth Brooks have got to be close.

You can't change facts, people. AC/DC makes more money than ABBA, ABBA faded into well deserved obscurity years ago.

Define sales. Is there a specific location in mind (I would think the U.S.)? ABBA has AC/DC beat far and away in all time sales.

AC/DC have done pretty well...Back in Black was the highest selling album by and band, and the second highest in history. This sets them up pretty well to have more than ABBA

High Fidelity
I agree that a note as to what the sales are based on (I'm guessing RIAA album sales or something similar) is warranted- I don't think there's a definitive way to quantify "sales" (singles cost less than albums and shift less units but some bands released dozens of singles and only a few albums). The main one that suggests to me that this is only based on the US is Ozzie Osbourne (not including Black Sabbath) outselling Oasis!

I am wondering why the quiz accepts some last names but not others. For example, I typed in Diamond for Neil Diamond and it was accepted. But, when I typed in Jackson for Michael Jackson, it was not accepted.

Probably because "Michael Jackson" starts with M by the rules of this quiz, so typing "Jackson" is weird. But it will work now.

It must be by certified sales. The claimed sales on almost all artist is anywhere from 2-5 times the certified units. (Michael Jackson 155 million certified, 350-750 million claimed)
