I think it used to be the most populous many years ago, but not anymore.

Yeah, this figure includes the whole pearl river delta region, which is one of the densest populated regions on earth. Guangzhou is still huge though.

I've been following Guangzhou ever since they started building that TV Tower a couple years ago...very respectable city indeed, even if Shanghai Tower will be taller.

I had to update this quiz because Moscow and Vladivostok changed time zones. Unfortunately, the quiz is much harder now.

Well, this opened my eyes! I am from the -6:00 time zone in the US (central time), and I was convinced that the quiz was broken because it wouldn't accept Chicago. It didn't even occur to me to extend my view all the way south. Respect, Mexico!

Santiago is UTC-3, not -4. The largest city in UTC-4 is Santo Domingo at 2.9 M.
May 15, 2015
(51)
This is correct. Even though Santiago should, by geography, be UTC-5, it is UTC-3, like São Paulo.

Quiz will need to be updated several times a year as various countries go on and off daylight savings time.

DST affects what you read on your clock but it does not change which time zone your are in.

For -6:00, I kept trying Chicago until I realized how US-centric was being. Also, this quiz needs way more time.
