You forgot Dearborn, Michigan, where they recently outlawed sharia law because of the apparently enormous Muslim population.

First, 97,000 population isn't very near the 2.5m found in the smallest cities on the list. Also, only 30% of the population are of Arab descent and not all of them are followers of Islam (in contrast, 52% of Dearborn residents identify as Christian).

To be fair, Bob Saget, it's hard to tell when someone is being sarcastic through text.

It's just that I've lived in Dearborn. Islamaphobes all over the country make it sound like Tehran or Kabul and use it to beat up anyone who doesn't think that all things Islamic are evil. In reality, it's a nice, blue-collar town with really lovely people. Guess I'm just sensitive on the topic.

Not on the list: Mecca, Medina, Jerusalem... I guess the 3 holiest cities in Islam aren't that populated.

Mecca and Medina are the 3rd and 4th largest cities in Saudi Arabia, respectively.

and Jerusalem, even if it were more populous, has been a Jewish-majority city at least since 1882 (and for most of the past 5000 years, though the point becomes moot before 1400 years ago as there were no Muslims then)
