Can you accept Indian Ocean for "Egypt - Saudi Arabia?"

If you do that, then you need to accept Indian Ocean for Oman-India, Yemen-Somalia, and Saudi Arabia-Iran, at a minimum.

There are other quizzes on the site that claim Israel borders the Atlantic and Indian Oceans... because it touched the Red and Mediterranean Seas. If you don't get the joke you don't need to comment.

The English Channel isn't actually a channel, so La Manche is at least as correct. Then again, it's been named both ways for centuries and the quiz already gives you the "Channel" part.

In German we call it "Ă„rmelkanal", which is a translation of La Manche, as well, but the English notoriously have issues with recognising that anything isn't just theirs, and Muricans often just follow!

I knew it, but only because I've been to Djibouti, and have actually gotten my feet wet in it. Other than Djibouti, with its significant French and US influences, it's bordered by Yemen and Somalia - neither of which can boast a booming tourism industry!

Easy. 100% with 2:19 left. Techinically it is the bering strait that separates russia and alaska. Because you put sea there it could have been Bering sea or chukchi sea. Still great quiz.

Don't try telling a Saudi that it's PERSIAN Gulf - to Arabs it's ARABIAN Gulf. I used to work in oil industry, and you had to be very careful on that issue, and flip-flop nomenclature.

The South China Sea does not separate China and the Philippines. Look at a map and you will see that it lies between Vietnam and the Philippines, and is bordered by Malaysia in the south. In Vietnam this sea is call the East Sea(Bien Dong), as it lies off the eastern coast of Vietnam. Calling it the South China Sea implies that Vietnam is somehow a part of southern China. This is offensive to the Vietnamese and is a classic case of imperialism and power determining the naming of places.
