I noticed that for orange juice it was accepted by just entering orange. The same did not work for pineapple. I had to type juice in order for it to be accepted. It would be better if the quiz were consistent. Thanks!

I'll accept it, even though you are totally missing out by not using cream! Interestingly, I just learned that making it with milk (skim) is called an Anna Kournikova.

The Dude made his with powdered creamer, that option should be taken as canon, in my opinion.

If I mention Anna Kournikova in my sleep again, I will try and use that as an excuse when explaining to the missus

Bit of a bland Bloody Mary going on there.

No tabasco, no worcestershire sauce, no celery salt. No flavour, presumably

Never had one. But I kept guessing worcestershire sauce and hot sauce.

Jagerbomb is a trendy bar shot, not a cocktail
+1
Level 37
Aug 6, 2014
It's not a shot, it's a shot dropped into a glass, which makes it a whole drink.
+1
Level 75

It is downed rather than sipped, therefore I would say there is a strong case for calling it is a shot.

It's a stupid drink anyway, the whole point of dropping the baileys into the Guinness with an Irish car bomb is so that you don't give it time to curdle. That's not going to happen with Jager in Red Bull.

Could you take schnapps without the "peach" bit...?

Level 79

NO! Schnapps without a modifier would imply peppermint, which would be hideous in that cocktail.

While you are right that it would be hideous, I object to the notion that "schnapps" without a modifier automatically implies peppermint. Why would it?

Ok, nitpicking session! The spelling of whisky/whiskey is mostly regional. As an example, scottish whisky is spelled without the "e", whereas irish whiskey is spelled with the "e"....generally....ok, nitpicking session ends....

Most of these give me shivers just looking at them brr. I think cuba libre would be the best one for me on the list.

And I forgot tequila... (as i did in the previous cocktail quiz) even as it is in one of the names!

Some suggestions of what should be accepted also:

peach instead of Peach Schnapps, Coffee instead of Coffee Liqueur, energy (drink) instead of Red Bull (because Baileys was corrected to Irish cream)

Another plea for Tia Maria to be accepted as the coffee liqueur, I think it's known fairly extensively by that name.

A fun quiz even though I'm not much of a cocktail drinker. Thanks.

Irish Car Bomb, eh? I'm really uncomfortable with that. Named by some guy in Connecticut. Cheers for that.
