You may know it as Myanmar, but it'll always be Burma to me.

That had to be said as well. Obligatory.

Beg to differ on Ethiopia being the "birthplace". Certainly old, but not as old as Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania.

Nauru is also a place that Australia likes to imprison refugees for years and years and years.

Australia’s Refugee and Humanitarian Program resettles 20,000 refugees each year. This increase came as part of the Houston Expert Panel recommendations in 2012, upping the number from 13,750. Australia is in the top three countries for resettlement of refugees. The USA, Canada and Australia provide 90 percent of global resettlement places

By GDP per capita, due to rich phosphate deposits. They're not quite as prosperous now.

Tesla was born in Austro-Hungarian empire, modern day Croatia, identified as a Yugoslav and died as an American. Moreover "Tesla" now denotes a corporation.

As for Novak, he is half Montenegrin, half Croatian and lives in Monaco.

Just eject Serbia from this quiz or put less ambiguous clues like perhaps Slobodan Milosevic.

Tesla has Serbian roots and his family members got murdered for being Serbian by Croatians during wartime. The village is indeed in modern day Croatia, but I'd be surprised if he'd identify as such. His final resting place happens to be in Serbia as well. As for Mr Djokovic, he adheres to the Serbian orthodox church, but more importantly he has Sebian nationality, which should account for something... Not disputing the general statement of your note, but do see the choices not as ambiguous as you state them to be.

Yes. Djokovic identifies as Serbian, and he is always identified as Serbian in tennis competitions (which is how the whole world knows him). When I close my eyes and picture his last name, I cannot help but picture the little Serbian flag next to it (that's actually how I remember what the flag looks like!).

"Gold Coast" was a bit confusing as I'm an Australian and my common sense tells me that the more popular Gold Coast would be the right answer. Hadn't even heard of the one in Ghana before this.

It's a city in Australia, the largest one that isn't a state capital. I'm guessing it's quite important for Australia (especially if you live in Queensland), but not so much for the rest of the world.

Nikola Tesla was born in modern day Croatia, from mixed serbo-croatian family.

he had austro ungarian birth certificate cuz then croatia was a part of austrian empire, and he lived most his life in the USA

so this is not correct to put in with strictly serbian affiliations.

thanks!
