Can you accept "natural science" and "mathematics" for 500?

Surely maths is too specific?

Yes. Mathematics is 510-519, not even close to the entire 500's. You could argue "Math and science" should be acceptable, but just "math" is not correct.

Lucky guesses. I typed "science" and "pure science" was auto-filled. That made me think of social sciences and computer science.

Music for 700's? please?

Also, Applied Science for 600's? Since that is what Dewey called it himself.

Music is just the 780's. If that were accepted, it would only be fair to accept Architecture, Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Sports, and Games as well.

I can't believe I got them all. Though I do recall many school holidays spent in the library (Wellington Central Library) while my parents worked.

Never heard of the dewey decimal system. Luckily I was on laptop for a change and saw the picture, so I figured it might be book genre. but it took me forever before I had a hit... tried horror detective suspense scifi, then science fiction gave me pure science ( another term that is new to me.) It took so long before I got some answers and they were few and far between. Managed to get 6 right in the end, literature wasnt one though haha

Fiction is off in its own section and organized by author's name, not subject.

JetPunk deserves its own section, free from the 900s section! They will be the 1000s-2000s section! Who's with me? I hope Mr. Hostetler agrees with me! (:

Also, Dewey was apparently a huge creep. There's a great episode of the Behind the Bastards podcast about him.
