True. But they are culturally aligned with the Caribbean.

Here we go again! - Guyana is also culturally "aligned" with the Caribbean, but you don't see it on Caribbean quizzes, do you?

The Bahamas are NOT part of the Caribbean.

No one say anything about Cyprus.

Cyprus is in the Caribbean?! So, that's the reason, why it's considered to be part of Africa, I guess!

More people got Rihanna than Blackbeard. :/

Rihanna has over 14 billion views on YouTube. Blackbeard has approximately zero. ;)

I think you may mean 'husband' rather than 'wife' of Lucille Ball?

How is Tim Duncan, five time NBA champion and one of the greatest players of all time, at only 34%?
+2
Level 60
May 6, 2016
Maybe because they don't know that he is from the US Virgin Islands
+8
Level 63
Mar 28, 2017
Maybe because 1. not everyone here is American and/or 2. follows the NBA.
+7
Level 62
Jan 11, 2018
Because not everybody watches sportsball. Some people prefer to be productive in their free time.

If they're being productive, one can hardly call it "free time".
+4
Level 65
Jul 10, 2019
Because not everybody here follows sports, and even less follow the NBA. If they were questions about football (American and non-American varieties) and baseball then the percentage would be higher.

yeah that was one of the ones I missed. I guessed every basketball player I knew that might fit the description but that wasn't enough.

No cricketers in there? Brian Lara, Gary Sobers, Michael Holding, Joel Garner, Viv RIchards, Malcolm Marshall just to name a few. Those guys were unbelievably good.

Probably only the fourth best West Indies cricketer, but hey, better than nothing. :) Contributed to me getting the two least-guessed answers (and annoyed for not getting third-least-guessed) while only getting 6 overall.

Toussaint by itself should count as a correct answer, because he was most often referred to by this name alone, not by his full name and never as simply "Louverture" (which I'm assuming does count by itself, though I already had Toussaint typed in).

Nicki doesn't wear the pink wig so much anymore, and certainly not more than any other color wig – besides, too many music people are wearing pink wigs these days. :-0 You could, as an alternative, give as a clue her real name, or one of her more obscure hits?
+2
Level 77
Apr 22, 2019
I got her because of the wig hint. Not sure I'd gotten any of her hits. It's a hard enough quiz so possibly only add "Previously".

For those of us not from North America the question about the San Antonio Spurs great may as well read "bloke who played a sport in America."
+4
Level 86
Apr 24, 2019
For those of us who are from North America, the cricket question may as well read "Guess random names" ;)

On a more serious note, the NBA is popular in places outside North America; it has a pretty strong following among the younger generations in China, for example.

If I take a quiz about Indonesia, I'm not going to complain that it's too hard for non-Indonesians.

Maybe consider including Cardi B who is double Caribbean (DR and Trinidad I think). Maybe also David Ortiz, Pedro Martinez and Al Horford. Also all the Puerto Rican personalities (reggaeton singers and otherwise), many of which are arguably the most famous caribbeans.

Should include actress Roslyn Sanchez ( Without a trace ) etc.she's Puerto Rican and more famous than many of the people on here , and apart from the great Sidney Poitier this quiz is light on actors.
