Yeah, but I don't think it's Mandarin they speak at home, but Hokkien. Maybe you should just leave it as "Chinese".

That might have been true in the past @mf3. Today, a plurality speak Mandarin at home, although English is catching up and will probably surpass it in a couple decades.

My maths teacher would continually point out that the a2 +b2 = c2 was at best an incomplete expression of the theorem, as it is only correct if c is the hypotenuse. Just in case you were wondering.

C needn't be the hypotenuse always. The names of straights may be arbitrarily chosen theoretically, but there is the obligation to name them in anticlockwise rotation. As you can turn around a triangle in the way you want, the start point is up to you. That's why HighFidelity's comment is right.

no because pythagoras' theorem only works with right angled triangles - where you have a definitive 'longest'' side. This is always the hypotenuse because you have the opposite (opposite the right angle) the adjacent( next to the right angle) and the hypotenuse (the longest side always). So if A^2 + B^2 = C^2, then C is always going to be the longest side - thus the hypotenuse.

Your maths teachers should have told you that sides are always labelled with lower-case letters. Capitals are reserved for vertices.

All Hallow's Day is the other name, which is why the day before is All Hallow's Eve or Evening, which eventually gets shortened to Halloween. (All Hallow's Day is accepted.)

I believe those places are correct for the African belief elements, but I don't think that the Vodou religion really came together until the Roman Catholic influences were adopted from the missionaries in Haiti. I'm no expert on religions, but I think that's the way it is.

Well you could in theory argue about natural fruit juices. Though they contain water it is not made of/with it, since it isn't produced/manufactured.

Never heard of rogaine, is it a herb or a brand. No idea what it was even supposed to be when I read it, a person a color a training exercise a religion. Obviously assumed probably some sort of medicine, ow wait no did consider food cause in my language the word looks like what would be rye in English.

There is indeed a difference. But it's like citing the difference between Missouri and the U.S.A.

All Catholics are Christian but not all Christians are Catholic. To claim that a Catholic holiday isn't a Christian holiday is fundamentally false. (Pardon the pun.)

There's another reason why eye lens get cloudy. It's called posterior capsule opacification and occurs when the lens capsule thickens behind the new lens that is replaced during cataract surgery. I only know about it because I've just been diagnosed with it and will have to have a laser procedure to clear it up.
