I didn't know Harold II, but according to the official website of the British Monarchy, he wasn't quite the last...

Sounds like he was never really in control of England.

William Conqueror and the arrow in the eye at Hastings - last of the Saxons. Easy. 1066 and all that.

Jetpunk's own quiz on English monarchs from Alfred the Great onwards lists Edgar the Aetheling. For sure he was a desperate last ditch figure head for the Saxon resistance who never really "ruled" - but he should be available as an alternative answer at least.

I know haha. Had "religion" been in quotes, I might have gotten it. As it was, I was kind of concerned for Germany's legislature...then I saw the answer at the end and thought, "Oh, that's valid."

I think putting it in quotes works. On Wikipedia it's part of a group called new religious movements which also includes parody or fiction-based "religions" like Pastafarianism or Jediism. Doesn't make any more sense than those. :D But I guess you could say that for most.

Why not? What separates it from any other religion, other than that it is newer? People in mainstream religions have all kinds of beliefs that defy reason and the laws of science, but we accept them because they have been around so long that we take them for granted. What exactly does Scientology do that other religions don't?

Scientologists literally tried to infiltrate the government. They also tried to stage a hit and run and frame Gabe Cazares (then mayor of Clearwater) for it. They also planned to get an author critical of them sectioned.

Masons are a cult/religion though some will deny it and already have infiltrated many governments. And they get away with murder. A disgusting cult.

I thought the last Anglo-Saxon king might be that one defeated by William the Conqueror, I seemed to remember his name was Harald, no luck, then I gave up and went on... so close, yet so far.

Got 16. Neptunium is easy to remember cuz it corresponds with a planet/Roman god, just like the other 2.

Or it goes Uranus, then Neptune, then Pluto, which is how I guessed it. Seemed pretty self explanatory for me, even if you don’t know the periodic table, which I don’t. I was shocked that only 22% of people got it.
