They need to be a little more forgiving on spelling here, considering these are German words we rarely ever write down... E.g., "gesundheit" I kept spelling with a Z, then tried to misspell further, only to miss it completely when I actually knew it.
Quizmaster replies:
Added some more acceptable variations for gesundheit....

I got twelve although I did have to google the spelling of what you say when someone sneezes. I don't count it as cheating because I knew I knew it. I probably wouldn't have gotten so many if not for the Germany v. USA video series on youtube lol.

There is NO WAY that "Fahrvergnugen" has "snuck" into the English language. It was used in a short-lived Volkswagen commercial campaign on TV and in print but, even then, no one was sure of its meaning.

I am well aware Austrians speak German. I'm also aware that calling an Austrian German is like calling me Hispanic just because I speak the language.

I'm Swiss, so German's my native language. I didn't get 6 of them. I never heard Stein as beer mug, only know it as stone.

I am Austrian (now Austro-Canadian), so German's my native language too! I read Stein somewhere a while ago and I did not get it! Fahrvergnuegen... no idea.. that is really just some word creation from your typical commercial. But I got one that is too weird "to abseil". You can call me German-speaking. Oh, and the word "Stein" means "stone" - to me... But then, I am not German :)
