The White Album is officially called "The Beatles". Both should be accepted. Probably also a good idea to note that only UK releases during the Beatles recording career count (so no "Magical Mystery Tour" or any of the US only releases).

There are 13 countries in South America, not 12. You've forgotten French Guiana!
+13
Level 33
Nov 9, 2012
French Guiana is an overseas territory that belongs to France, and is technically not a country.
+6
Level 75

France is comprised of departments similar to US states. I've learned from doing these quizzes that French Guiana is not a territory. It's an overseas department of France, the same as Hawaii is a U.S. state. Hawaii is usually considered part of North America for political reasons even though it's not geographically part of the continent. Similarly, although French Guiana means France is one of the countries in South America geographically, most of France is in Europe, so French Guiana is politically European and doesn't count (on this quiz) as one of the SA countries. (I don't decide 'em, I just explain 'em.)

Level 81

There should be a caveat here, because on every other quiz French Guiana is considered France, even on "biggest neighbor quiz" "Countries by border quiz" etc... So shouldn't France be a south american country. Part of France is in South America. I've been beat down on other quizzes like the ones mentioned above that France shouldn't be included. I think a caveat is in order in the instructions.

Walacama no, France is not a south american country as the French mainland is in Europe. If you were to follow the logic that France belongs equally to each region on which it has territories, it would be a european country, a south american country, a caribbean/ north american country, and a country in the indian ocean. When visiting french guiana, you would not say you are going to france, would you? You would say that you're visiting french guiana

You can't have it both ways. The logic doesn't follow. I would give the caveat. According to all the other quizzes, if I visit French Guiana, I'm visiting France. Just like if I'm visiting Hawaii, I'm visiting the US.

Didn't feel like I'd done very well.. but still finished in the 98th percentile. I guess that shows versatility? Since these things have little to do with one another apart from the two zodiac ones.

With the exception of the gold rings, there's not a thing on the list I would want. They'd be things I'd have to find a way to get rid of - talk about awful gifts! ;-)

Level 75

Giving people as gifts is constitutionally prohibited, not to mention city ordinances against livestock and loud music. The gold rings might be the only thing you'd want, but they are also the only things that could be legally accepted. :)

I'm part Dutch and we refer to the Netherlands as "Holland" more than "the Netherlands."

From Wikipedia: "Holland is a region and former province on the western coast of the Netherlands. The name Holland is also frequently used to informally refer to the whole of the country of the Netherlands."

For the gifts you should accept just what the gift is not what the gift was doing. I would also add that you would have to make "partridge in a pear tree" the only acceptable answer since the partridge and the pear tree are both parts of the gift.

It would seem that the Beatles were right - they are more popular than Jesus. I'm pleased to report that, bucking the trend, I only got 3/12 for the Beatles and 12/12 for the Apostles. But wouldn't you expect that from a cardinal?
