Be careful putting President Obama up there...while most rational people know he was born in Honolulu and lived most of his adult life in Chicago, there are some people who just might pick Nairobi, Kenya. Be wary of them.

anyone who puts Nairobi obviously deserves to get it wrong

Bill Clinton was born in Hope, Arkansas, but he and his family moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas, when he was four years old. Hot Springs is where he grew up and graduated high school, and is widely considered his "hometown".

Charles Lindburg was born in Detroit, not St. Louis. He grew up in St. Louis. Larry Bird was born in West Baden, Indiana, not French Lick, where he went to High Schol. The instructions need to point out that its not where these people were born.

I would say that Charles Lindbergh's home town is Little Falls, Minnesota. His father was the US Congressman from the district, so young Charles went to many schools, but graduated high school from Little Falls HS in 1918. The connection to St Louis might be due to the "Spirit of St Louis" name of his plane, but that honor was because the funding for the flight came from St Louis businessmen
