Like the improvement! If you're adding New Caledonia and French Polynesia, would it be appropriate to also include Cook Islands and Niue?

Yes, let's go all out on this quiz!!! Add the Cook Islands, then Marquesas and Tahiti for French Polynesia, Yap, Satawal, Chuuk, Pohnpei for Micronesia, etc. Actually the Pacific Islands are full of various cultural groups that are extremely different from each other and were rounded up into the same "countries" when the western powers came. We should divide them according to these cultural groups.

You could/should also add Rapa Nui, Tokelau, Wallis and Futuna, Guam, Northern Marianas, as well as Niue and Cooks (as previously mentioned). West Papua also aligns itself with/in Oceania, and has had a vocal mouthpiece through the Melanesian Spearhead Group and the government of Vanuatu in recent years.

Tuvalu is in the wrong place, and has the wrong size. It is due north of Fiji, and it is an island cluster 685 km across, far bigger than the weeny one-island Nauru-sized dot that appears here.

Not sure why someone is saying Cook Islands isn't a country. It is, and has been since 1965. It's a group of 15 islands, and the Capital is Avarua. Niue is also a country and has been since the 70's. The Capital is Alofi.

And Tokelau is a dependancy of New Zealand, so technically shouldn't the NZ area also have a tiny spot up in the middle of the Pacific? USA should be on this quiz too, seeing American Samoa and Guam are territories in the Pacific.

Why *should* it? There's no should about it. This website is full of people making snide comments about what the question setter should have done. Those who can, do; those who can't pontificate ad nauseum about how other people's quizzes are wrong because they are so up themselves.

why are just two of the French territories added - but not Wallis & Futuna? If you are adding the French territories, why not then all the others - Pitcairn, Guam, N. Marianas, US Samoa, Norfolk Is., Tokelau, Niue, Cook Islands and Easter Island?
