didn't Pudge Rodriguez also go from the championship Marlins to the Tigers? Or did he play for another team prior to the Marlins? Rangers perhaps?

Pudge did play for the Rangers before moving to Marlins. He Also played for the Yankees, Astros, Rangers (again) and Nationals then signed a courtesy contract with the Rangers (Again) before retiring.

The Boston Red Sox won the world series with Babe Ruth, so that should be underlined.

Somebody's certainly a Red Sox fan by the looks of the quiz.

Could you add Xavier Hernandez? Not sure of chronological order, but he was with the Astros, Yankees, Reds, and Blue Jays.

Schilling was a part of some of the worst trades ever. My favorite is the Orioles trading Shilling, Pete Harnisch and Steve Finley for Glenn Davis. Schilling pitched 17 years after the trade, getting another 215 wins. Harnisch pitched another 11 years, getting 95 more wins. Finley played another 17 years, hitting 299 home runs.Glenn Davis played 3 more years, hitting 24 home runs.

I put in David Freese instead of Albert Pujols. Granted, Pujols is a much bigger name than Freese, but Freese also won a World Series with the Cardinals and then went to play for the Angels.

Was true at the time of the writing of this comment, but Freese has since gone on to play for the Pirates and Dodgers.

After Clemens was the first answer, I just entered as many roided-up cheaters as I could think of, and then just figured out the handful of others that were still blank.

I find it curious how there is so much hate for steroid users who got caught, but nary a peep about players who beat their wives, drive drunk, or commit other crimes.

Meanwhile, home run frequency and pitch velocity is much higher now than during the "steroid era". You're naive if you think steroids aren't still a major part of the game.

Make a sports quiz where the answers involve players who beat their wives (Greg Hardy, Zac Stacy), drive drunk (Jim Leyritz, Leonard Little) or commit other crimes (Rae Carruth, Henry Ruggs) and you'll get comments like mine above about them too.

Also, nowhere did I indicate that I think steroid usage isn't still rampant. In fact, quite to the contrary, I know it is. I just generally don't care about MLB now like I used to.

And lastly, the feelings I have toward people who cheat at a game is nothing in comparison to how I feel toward people who victimize others.

Can't believe I got them all. The underlines were crucial...without that I doubt I would have got more than a few of them because the possibilities would be endless.

Yeah the underlines were a big help.

Updating Pujols to add the Dodgers would be a nice touch and make his name a little harder to guess

Leon Chagnon also played for Pirates and Giants. I'm sure there must be others.

To the people who know this stuff:

Do you have trivia memorized about many sports? Could you score similarly on a similar quiz about football, soccer, hockey, etc.?

I don't really understand how someone can memorize .. 30 MLB teams. 26 players each. @780 players each year. And then over a period of probably >30 years? (I assume 90's stuff ..maybe 80's too.. is "current event" material. And it goes at least as far back as 1914-35 when Ruth played)

Do you have the room to also shove countries/flags/capitals/periodic table/movies+tv+music/etc. into your memory?

Or maybe this is mostly a, "spam the 20 most well-known baseball players". Like Jordan, Bryant, Kareem, etc.

I guess with 6,000 takes since 2012, it's pretty niche.
