Victor Laszlo as a famous character? He's probably the last character from that movie I'd consider "famous." I mean great character, great movie, but really? Victor Laszlo?

Laszlo: One hears a great deal about Rick in Casablanca.
Rick: And about Victor Laszlo everywhere.

What about "City of God"/"Cidade de Deus" as an answer for "Goose"? In the original Portuguese, the character's name was "Marreco", but the English subtitles used the name "Goose".

Got em all with 2:04 to spare but I inadvertently cheated a bit. I thought Sam Spade was from Casablanca so I put that in and it automatically filled in for the Victor Lazlo [who I would have never remembered]. Luckily my second guess for Spade was Maltese Falcon.

Average score is 11, which seems depressingly accurate; that's about as many older movies to ones kids will know.
