I object to the inclusion of the "Madea" series. Those do not belong in the Movies category, but rather the Abominations-to-All-Mankind category. Thank you.

Those Tyler Perry movies haven't even opened over here in the UK afaik. Also, I literally wouldn't be able to pick Tyler Perry out of a lineup. Still, I was glad that the one I hadn't heard of was only got by 37%.

The Monty Python movies isn't really a movie series. They just happen to be movies made by the same people.

Yeah, it's like saying Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride are series because they both star Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. Or Joe and the Volcano, Sleepless in Seattle, and You've Got Mail.

Sure, but those weren't titled "Roberts and Gere's Pretty Woman" and "Roberts and Gere's Runaway Bride," while they are "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," "Monty Python's Life of Brian," and "Monty Python's The Meaning of Life."

Still not a movie series, and having the name of the people who made it on the title doesn't make it one.

I guess it's an age thing. When my son told me he'd seen the movie Deadpool, my first thought was, "They're doing remakes of the Dirty Harry movies???" The Dead Pool definitely isn't the same as Deadpool.

Others to add - or put into another quiz are: American Pie, National Lampoon, The Hobbit, Anne of Green Gables (but that may have been more of a telemovie), Meet the ... (Fockers, Parents), Hunger Games, Mission Impossible, Three Ninjas (great 90s kids movies), lots of scary movie franchises that go on forever.... and so on. There is plenty more to make another quiz with - or at least expand this one.
