How do only 25% of people guess SLC punk as Utah. SLC stands for Salt Lake City which is Utah;s largest and capital city.

If you haven't seen the movie then SLC could stand for anything, I had no idea it stood for Salt Lake City (if I'd known that I would have known the state).

Fargo takes place in Minnesota. The locales are Minneapolis/St. Paul and Bemidji. About 30 seconds of the film takes place in Bismarck. To the best of my recollection, none of it actually takes place in Fargo.
