Oh, hey, Bojangles. You know, I've eaten there since I was small, and I still forgot it. Honestly, didn't think it'd be on the list, since it's just in the Southeast.

I got the 9 which are in Western Australia although Burger King is called Hungry Jacks and Wendy's is an ice cream place!

Why are all us West Aussies doing this quiz. You both got me. Never heard of almost any of them.

27/50 - I was surprised to see Steak and Shake and Panera on the list, although I guessed them. They just don't seem quite like fast food places...

Panera is not the actual place. It is actually St. Louis Bread Co. Panera is for those north of St. Louis. Also... Carls Jr. and Hardees are the same!

Panera is called Atlanta Bread Company where i'm from... Atlanta!

My city has BK, McD's, Subway, Dunkin Donuts, and Pizza Hut... I wish we had Taco Bell!!!!

7/50. My town doesn't have any of these... probably bacause I live in a small city in Norway. We only have burgerking, mcdonalds, starbucks and subway in the biggest towns.

Twisp, Wa doesn't have anything, and papa murphys says in the commercials take n bake so is that fast food, and no arctic circle, look forward every time we head out to utah

I almost missed Dairy Queen and I worked at one when I was 15! They don't have any in my area, I miss the chicken strip basket with a blizzard :)

i live in a small town...all we have is subway which is at the gas station 2 miles away. but we live close to a city where there are a lot of these.

Got 8 out of 50.. have never even seen let alone been in a Wendy's or Taco Bell but have heard of them on Friends (but I thought it was Windy's, must have been the accent) and I should have got Domino's pizza but apart from that I have honestly never heard of ANY of the others! I didn't know 50 Fast-food restaurants existed! :') Don't think anyone outside of the USA would get many of these

Yeah, my city doesn't have a lot of these either, though I have eaten at Steak N' Shake while visiting family in Orlando. The only place I've ever seen a Tim Hortons was in Canada, and I thought Jack in the Box shut down, but idk...

At least I got Qdoba. And McDonald's and Wendy's and Burger King and Sonic and Einstein's Brothers and Starbucks. That was it.

30/50...wow... most of these places aren't in my city...however, there is a Rally's right by my house, and a Dairy Queen, and a 5 Guys. I love all those places...I thought 5 Guys was local, lol. Never heard of Hardee's Carl's Jr., Whataburger, Zaxby's, Bojangles', Papa Murphy's, El Pollo Loco, Del Taco, CiCi's Pizza, Boston Market, Sbarro, Jason's Deli, Captain D's, and others. I guess they just don't have them in my city.

Living in the UK, doesn't help things on this quiz...

I'm Canadian so I haven't heard of half of these, and I was really surprised to see Tim Hortons on the list. I think I'm the only Canadian alive who actually really hates that place.

we have only 7 of these in the UK. this quiz explains a lot, wonder how many they have in the rest of europe....

I don't even know what the hell Zaxby's is. Never even heard of most of these restaurants. The nearest Popeyes to me is an hour away and I don't even know where the nearest Chickfila is...

The nearest Chick Fil-A to me I think is about 7000 miles west of here. But there is a Popeye's...

If it doesn't have a drive thru it shouldn't be considered fast food IMO.

You forgot a few I think. Taco John's. Bruegger's Bagels, and Au Bon Pain just to name a few off the top of my head lol.

They weren't forgotten, they just don't do as much business as any of the places listed.

Carl's Jr and Hardee's are the same restaurant, just with different names in different places.

I've only seen about 5-10 of these in my country, but at least I got those.

A lot of these are particular to a region. I've never heard of some of them.

In Saudi Arabia we've got McD's, Subway, BK, no Wendy's- they went out of business :(((, Starbucks, Taco Bell, Dunkin, Pizza Hut, KFC, Domino's, DQ, Papa John's, Quiznos, Hardees/CarlsJr (called Hardee's here), Popeyes, Little Ceasars, Baskin, Cold Stone... and I think maybe Sbarro but not sure. Also doing brisk business are Costa Coffee, Seattle's Best Coffee, the Marble Slab, Caribou Coffee, TCBY, Firehouse, Johnny Rocket's, Fat Burger and many other American places not on this list. Some local joints include Herfy (the only Saudi fast food company I'm aware of), Shewarma X, Shewarmer, Aladdin (Indian fast food), Isfahan (Persian fast food), Mama Noura's (Lebanese fast food), Burger Fuel (from NZ), and so on. Other huge chains that are very popular include Applebee's, Fuddrucker's, Chili's, Outback Steakhouse, and so on... but I guess they're not classified as fast food.

hard to believe that Tim Hortons does more business worldwide than Costa Coffee or some of the other coffee places I listed. I don't think I've ever seen a Tim Horton's before... anywhere... but I see Costa all over the United States, in Europe, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, India, Korea, etc.

Krispy Kreme is another one you see all over the place here in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere in the world that didn't make the list. Just saw one on the way to work this morning and it reminded me.

I'm also a little surprised Shakey's Pizza didn't make the list. They're all over the Philippines and I think I've seen them in other Asian countries, too. Would have thought they did better business worldwide than Einstein Brothers or Five Guys.

Well... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Hortons just out of curiosity I looked them up. They have a pretty impressive dominance of the Canadian fast food market, I'll give them that. Extremely impressive, actually. Twice as many outlets (in Canada) as McDonald's, and 76% of the Canadian coffee market compared to Starbuck's 7%. That's pretty amazing. They also apparently have 745 stores in the USA in spite of my never having seen one, but outside of North America they only operate 23 stores total in 2 countries. I guess their revenues in Canada make up for that.

Maybe because this quiz made me aware of the chain, I finally noticed a Tim Horton's in this part of the world. Last weekend while in Dubai I saw a couple of them there. I also noticed a Sbarro in the airport in Dammam (Saudi Arabia), which I may have seen before, but now this quiz made me notice it more.

(the UAE, curiously enough, is one of the 2 countries outside of North America with a Tim Horton's. The other is Oman)

So, only 12 of these are in the UK we're missing out
