GeckoIX | Gah! I spelt Weasel and Prairie Dog wrong. Other than that I only got Tarsier wrong, I guessed Aye Aye. 2011-05-19 |
xolkan | Missed Mountain Goat, Jag, Aardvark and Wolverine... I also put Aye Aye for Tarsier lol 2011-05-19 |

nuroshi | wolverine looks like a badger....

xolkan | lol Badger, that's what I guessed for Wolverine and the Tarsier and Aye Aye are both related to Lemurs 2011-05-19 |
darkseraphim21 | I got them all but the tarsier. What the... that thing is hideous. o___o Wolverines do look suspiciously like badgers I have to agree. 2011-05-20 |
Nate | couldn't find real pictures instead of black and white drawings? 2011-05-20 |
ctleng76 | The Tarsier is one creepy looking creature. 2011-05-20 |
acer9199 | The tarsier, believe it or not, is a primate, like you and me. It's only found in the Phillippines, and a few surrounding islands. It is about the size of a large mouse, and could fit in the palm if your hand. It is almost exclusively nocturnal. It does not make a good pet, as it reproduces poorly in captivity, and has been known to attempt suicide by hitting it's soft head. Its diet is vegetation, and insects for meat. Its eyes are fixed inside the head, and cannot be moved or rotated by ocular muscles, but instead can turn its head 180 degrees in both directions, so that it can hunt, and evade predators. 2011-05-21 |
delky06 | 18/20 - missed mole and wildebeest 2011-05-21 |
Superjoe92 | Platypus are not technically mammals. They are monotremes. Like the echidna (the only two in existence) they are warm blooded creatures that lay eggs and feed their young on milk. Although often grouped with other mammals, monotremes have too many differences to mammals to be truely classified as such. 2011-05-23 |
TangerineClay | @noodles It's def a tarsier, you can tell by it's fingers, they are the most distinctive part of them. And it's eyes...galagos eyes are less "buggy" then the Tarsier.
And Aye Ayes are not the same as Tarsiers, if you think the tarsier is creepy, google an Aye aye...it will haunt your dreams 2011-06-13 |
retroasian | i thought a bat was a sugar glider or a flying fox. i also missed wolverine and prairie dog because i typed it as prairedog. i got tarsier though!!!! 2011-06-15 |
Wildman1056 | I would not have guessed "tarsier" without your help in these comments. I would have said "Gollum." 2011-07-02 |
kyliandra | it's not a platypus, a platupus is actually an insect (a genus of ambrosia beetle) - what is commonly known as the 'duck-billed platypus' is actually called ornithorhynchus 2011-07-04 |
averagesnarker | Ass should be acceptable for donkey, chimp should be acceptable for chimpanzee, and that weasel looks quite a bit like a stoat or a marten and I argue that those should be acceptable. I have never seen a weasel quite so...red? It looks like a pine marten, 'nuff said. 2011-07-11 |
advo24 | Gah I was putting 2 E's in Lemur damn it! otherwise I woulda got all of them! 2011-07-18 |
redsoxfan87 | i missed like 5 just because of spelling 2011-07-19 |
Ithabise | How about Gollum for the tarsier! 2011-08-28 |
MissMerMer | @ kyliandra - Everyone knows it as a platypus or duckbilled platypus. Besides....Ornithorhynchus is the scientific name, not the common name. Did you call the lion a Panthera leo? 2011-09-06 |
Fofie | 100% :)
Agreeing with MissMerMer. Platypus is the common name... i don't expect many people call it an Ornithorhynchus. 2011-10-08 |
MaryLeathert | In Finland we call tarsiers "ghost animals". Quite fitting, but didn't help me in figuring the name out. 2011-11-01 |
Hollandrock | Apparently 'E.T. didn't count for the tarsier. May need fixing! 2011-11-05 |
PeachyJane | Why is "mongoose" not acceptable for "weasel"? I understand that they are not closely related animals, but their resemblance is remarkable. 2011-11-07 |
Gingerbreadman | I guessed "cheetah" "puma" "leopard" before i thought of jaguar, I feel silly. :/ 2011-11-15 |
happygrrl | Can't a tarsier also be called a bush baby? I was positive that it was a bush baby... 2011-11-23 |
Lemurlover3 | @happygrrl, No Tarsiers are unrelated to bushbabies all though they are both prosimians they are in different classes. 2012-01-26 |
BlendedCow | I put goat for mountain goat. For tarsier I was tempted to put....
Gollum. 2012-02-01 |
joe soap | Tarsier..? Get the hell out of here you ugly thing! 2012-02-05 |
