Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) has slipped out of the table completely - along with Serbo-Croat and Yoruba. Three more Indian dialects to remember instead.

How is it possible that Indonesian is not there? There are more than 20 million in Jakarta alone.

Indonesian is a dialect of Malay.

Also, most people in Indonesia do not speak Indonesian as their first language, but rather Javanese, Sundanese, or one of the several other related languages of the various islands. Indonesian is more like a lingua franca.

@lukutiss1324 Hindu is a religion, and Hindi is the language. they are not the same thing at all.

12 languages in this list are Indian state languages..interesting to see so many of our state languages have more speakers than other countries' languages...
