It took me a few minutes. The key is that it is spoken by Bonasera in his plea to the Godfather, instead of by one of the major characters.

However it isn't the first line. He says "Huh. I am not a bum. I'm a jerk."

"I was born a poor black child" is about 5 lines later.

The one film ("Wonderful Life") that has been televised 4,782 times and in which the protagonist is George Bailey merits only 36% !?

I'd argue that it's probably a movie that is only famous really in North America. And it's not super popular with a lot of younger people. So anyone younger that Elder Millennial probably doesn't know it or hasn't even heard of it.

If the category is movies, always try "Star Wars," "The Godfather," "Goodfellas," and/or "Reservoir Dogs." "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" is also frequently one of the answers.

The Big Lebowski also used to be one, but after I finally remembered to try it, it seems to have fallen from favor. Monty Python is another good one to try.

I think Oliver is the musical, the best film is 'Oliver Twist' 1948, with Alec Guinness as Fagin and Robert Newton as Bill Sykes ...... great film. (Robert Newton also made pirates say AhAAAH when he played Long John Silver in the old 'Treasure Island'.

Thanks for bringing my attention to the 1948 version. It looks amazing! But just to be clear, "Please, sir, I want some more" doesn't occur until about the 15 minute mark of that version.

"On the twenty-third day of the month of September, in a decade not to long before our own... the human race suddenly encountered a threat to its existance...a threat, like most others, in the seemingly most innocent and unlikely of places"

I might've said it wrong
