I don't know if this would qualify as ambiguous or not, but ET is also a fairly-well-recognized abbreviation for Entertainment Tonight. Seems like that might be considered Pop Culture as well.

Good to know. I changed the hint to "Outer Space". Thanks!

That was my first guess as well.

Also my first guess. Also tried Eastern Time Zone. Not sure if Entertainment Tonight should be accepted but it's definitely a pop culture reference.

Another vote here for Entertainment Tonight. Finally got what you were looking for, but only after my first guess didn't work. It's really a better fit under Popular Culture than the actual answer, which belongs under Movies.

Like several of you, I guessed "Entertainment Tonight" first. However wouldn't that actually be TV and not pop culture?

RBI actually stands for Runs Batted In. I think that should be an acceptable answer

It is acceptable. Who do you take me for? :)

if you want to be "actual," yankeefan, RBI stands for RUN batted in, while the plural RUNS batted in is refered to as "RBIs." If you knock in 1 run you get 1 RBI or 1 run batted in. If you hit a 2 run homer, for example, you get 2 RBIs or 2 runs batted in. I guess it makes sense that a yankee fan does fully understand the game of baseball. LOL

I find it sad that GUI is only 21% while TGIF(I had no idea what that was) is at 94%. It just goes to show how stupid this generation is.

your Kinda proving your own point considering GUI is something that has been around for the Last twenty years, but TGIF has been used since the 1950s. maybe your the misinformed one

AP, in education, might also refer to an Assistant Principal at a school.

TGIF has been around since at least the 50's. Friday's took this a part of the restaurant's name and the restaurant has been around since the mid 60's

You should accept "bacon lettuce AND tomato" for BLT. That's what the sandwich is commonly called.

AP for education can also mean assistant principal and associate professor. Some people may spell this principal as principle.

yes but it is not very common for those to be abbreviated in education. AP means advanced placement universally

BYOB is also known in popular culture as "Be Your Own Boss". That should be accepted too.
