Aw, I miss the version with Sonic Youth. Oh well. If anyone wants kinda OK angsty music from the 80s go listen to Sonic Youth.

Stop making sense is not really an album, more of a live soundtrack or so. Speaking in tongues or Little creatures would be more appropriate for that period of their career.

Just a consistency note: the 1990s quiz goes from oldest to newest. The order should be reversed in one of these quizzes.

The 2000s quiz is newest to oldest, so I guess it's the 1990s quiz that should reverse order.

most of these acts confirm what a poor decade the 80's was for music.

omg the 80's had the best music like Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Cyndi Lauper, Bruce Springsteen

(I don't know if Whitney Houston was more 90's than 80's but she was really really really good)

Amy Winehouse was not at all 80's (unless you count that she was born in 1983). She released her first album in 2003.

And Whitney Houston spanned into the 90's and 2000's but she also was definitely 80's.

The 90's had the absolute best music of all time, the holdovers from the 80's were still pumping out outstanding music and the new generation took music to a new level, it was a magical time for music. Then the 2000's came around and it was pretty much down hill from there.

Two of Whitney's biggest albums came out in the 80s, so I definitely put here squarely there.

I remembered having listened to the album "Synchronicity" but still didn't remember whose album it was. I'm old on so many levels.
