@mrkbh- Let's put it this way. If a "athlete" is completely out of shape and able to compete a la John Daly, that's not a sport.

Why is fencing not a sport? It is athletic, you keep score, there is stategy and you have an opponent. What other criteria do you need? Swimming is just who is the fastest. In the words of Doug Stanhope, you might as well have a competition to see who is tallest. Its just genetics, who is the fastest. There is no strategy or gamesmanship. Just a race. Same with cycling, though perhaps a tad less so as you share the same space, so there is jockeying and knowing when to make a move.

going with that logic, all sports aren't sports. they're just a means by which to show off physical abilities, some learned, most born with. the fact that lebron james is the best basketball player in the world is probably only about 5-10% actual effort, he was just born with the natural ability to do certain things. look at yao ming or shaq. just because you're not utilizing a specifically learned set of skills doesn't mean that it's not a sport.

Should have gotten cycling... the peleton is a pretty well known term for the pack... grrrrr... I do get frustrated when I see a football term and it won't take it... and asks for "soccer" ... In the UK we play FOOTball with our FEET!... hehehe... Good quiz though!

Golf is a sport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like @mrkbh said- friggin walk 18 holes with a bag of clubs on your back (which weighs almosot 30 lbs) and tell me thats not a sport.... Its just that is more of a stategical game than a physical game. >>>>> Plus there are spectators, an oppenent, and rules which are what officially make it a sport!!!! RRGHHHHHH - i hate it when people dont think golf is a sport!!

All I could find for "Huck" was for all extreme sports, to include mountain biking, half pipe skateboarding/roller blading, snowboarding.

Fencing is obviously not only a sport, but one of the oldest and most legitimate sports. Sounds like someone's sour that he couldn't guess it. @Rittings, I guess squash for ceiling shot too.

i agree with leobald1, huck is used in a lot of sports and it should either be changes to extreme sports, or include others or althernatively be removed... it is a bit null.
