Ah, so annoyed I didn't make the connection between 'Caine' and 'Horatio'! I spend half my life making fun of that guy

It's actually spelled Glenn Quagmire

"Will" should work for Riker. No one called him "William."

William was what I thought of first.

Will will work now.

Can't believe I missed Kelly Kapowski. Also, I don't think Tobias is necessarily any more famous than Maebe. Maebe was the first name I typed in.

Yeah that's kind of the fatal flaw of this quiz. Most of the characters have family members, some of whom are equally famous as them.

Maebe was the true joke of the name that took 2 years to come to fruition.

Sterling Archer is an animated character on a cable TV cartoon. Jonathan Archer was the captain of the USS Enterprise. If being the star of a Star Trek series on network TV doesn't make you more famous than an FX cartoon character then I don't know what does! Also, another vote here for Joe Swanson; NOBODY can argue that Parks and Recreation is a bigger hit than Family Guy!

I'll allow Jonathan now.

I'm a little surprised by the low %'s in the stats for this one. I thought Americans watched a lot of TV!

As an American, I surely do. But never heard of half these characters.

I am surprised by how few people got Adrian Monk. Granted, that is my all time favorite show.

quizmaster you might be surprised by low % but I was surprised by how obscure most of these characters were. I have watched a lot of TV over my lifetime and many of these names were not familiar to me. so i just guessed first names which didn't help either, ha ha. Tough quiz maybe change some of the rare ones and throw in an easy one or two.

I kept typing in 'Derek' Morgan (character from Criminal Minds). I had to look up Dexter Morgan -- never heard of him or the show!

Mad props for the "Odd Couple" reference. That made my day!

Jack and Jennifer Devereaux were a couple on Days of Our Lives.

Yeah, I immediately thought of Jack Devereaux. The phrase "more famous" is pretty subjective.

I kept trying Kwai Chang Caine from Kung Fu back in the mid 70's. Nope!

I think "Ellen Morgan" from Ellen Degeneres's show "Ellen" should be accepted.

Surprised to get 4 points on this even though I only got 11/24 (46%). And I only actually knew 2 of those, the rest I got by guessing random names.

For the Odd Couple, in the TV show, Felix's name is spelled Unger. It's Ungar in the play and the film.
