Robert Horry has 7 because he played with Kobe and Shaq.

Well, 2 with Olajuwon and 2 more with Duncan and the Spurs.

Robert Horry may not have been a superstar but he was a very good player, and is known for his clutch playoff performances. While with the Lakers he hit game clinching shots in four consecutive playoff series'. He's not some scrub that got lucky to be on good teams, he was a major contributor to those championships.

It's true. Without Horry, we'd probably have different champions in 2002 and 2005.

Big Shot Bob.

I agree with the above comments about Robert Horry. Also, he didn't just win with the Lakers, he won two championships each with the Rockets and the Spurs.

Ray Allen. 08 Celtics and the 2 Heat titles

incorrect. Ray Allen has one with Boston and one with Miami. They lost to the Spurs his second and final year with the Heat.

Man oh man are there a lot of Michael Jordan coattail riders on this list.

Level 84
Jun 23, 2016
Uh, you could say that a lot of names on this list rode the coattails of someone, not just Jordan.
+1
Level 63

yes, but Jordan has the most coat tail riders of anyone on this list. that's the point Octavio was making, i believe.

However none of the celtics from Russell's 10 championships are on the list. About 100 coattail riders there alone.

Ray Allen won a title in 2008 with the Celtics and then two with the Heat in 2012 and 2013.

Why is this quiz only after 1970? Bill Russell, Bob Cousy, Sam Jones, and John Havlicek deserve credit for what they did.

But what about all the bench players who got carried along for the ride? I didn't want this quiz to become "name people who played with the Celtics in the 1960's".

But you also had Heinsohn, KC Jones, Loscy, Sanders, Siegfried, and the list goes on... Nobody could answer that except diehard Celtics fans. And that doesn't even include far less known players from Minneapolis Lakers and St Louis Hawks.

Well Bob Saget was at one time and still might be the only person to simultaneously star in two series to be simultaneously in the top 10 at the same time. So you know he has to be good.
