Paul Brown under 50%. Guess the team being named for you is not enough of a hint!

Too bad Paul Brown actually has 213 wins, and is 6th all time. I don't know where they got 166?

And honestly, I thought Lombardi was going to make the list. I typed his name at least 1,000 times before trying Lambeau

And then there's the guy who tries Lombardi, is confused by his absence, and then never bothers with Lambeau, because of a gross misconception of how long each of them were at the helm.

Might be worth noting that your numbers include games played outside the NFL (i.e., between 2 AFL teams prior to 1970).

The NFL recognizes all history and records from the AFL (as a result of the merger).

It would still be worth pointing out. As a huge Chiefs fan, I almost didn't put Hank Stram (and was saved only because it couldn't have been anyone else).

Marvin Lewis is technically no longer an active coach. I suppose it's possible another franchise picks him up, though I think it would be far more likely as a coordinator then as a head coach.

Better check on Andy Reid again. The total AND the current team.
+1
Level 67
Jan 12, 2019
It's the team he has the most wins with, not his current team. Andy Reid coached the Eagles for like 14 years and he has coached the Chiefs for like 7, so it's a good bet he has more wins with the Eagles, especially since he had them in the playoffs almost every year.

I predict Pete Carroll to jump 5 spots this season to 132 wins.

Close. He is now at 133 wins. Seems like he is a lock for 10 wins a season from now until he retires or Russell Wilson is no longer the Seahawks quarterback.

That comment did not age well. Nor has Carroll.

Huh? Wilson is gone and the Seahawks are still getting decent results with Geno Smith at quarterback.

Carroll continues to be great.

And in terms of aging, he's 72 years old. I'd say he's aging incredibly well.

I guess the Wikipedia article was wrong before. It seems to be fixed now, but they've thrown in some AFL coaches now so it's wrong in a different direction I guess.

I changed the cutoff to avoid these issues.

Talk about consistency, the Steelers have had 3 coaches since 1969 and they've all made the list.
