Cool quiz! Just one suggestion - the previous map was black-and-white, with no coastlines or neighboring country coastlines to help, and took several questions for the answer to emerge. Perhaps that would work better? This version of the map is very quick to work out.
Jerry928 has suggestion. So people I would like to see what the rest of you have to say. Compare this version with yellow map and this with black. Please leave your comment here and help me to find out which one is better.p.s. Ignore white space between parts in black version.
I agree that neighbouring countries and coastlines make it much easier to identify the country in the featured quizzes. Without these it is indeed more challenging.
Though I like the idea, it's relatively easy to identify the country. Often doesn't require more than a couple of correct answers. Perhaps you could go for the country shape only.
I know I'm late to the party, and it might have changed since the first comments were posted, but both quizzes have the same kind of map. The yellow ones. So I'm gonna go ahead and say this one is better. :)
The fact that wiki titled "big ben" takes you to an article about the clock tower, and not the specific bell, is certainly a fair argument in favour of the original post!
I understood you wanted "New Zealand" but maybe change the phrasing? The Maori aren't "from" New Zealand, but instead Polynesia. Perhaps "where the Maori live?" would be better.
They've been there for hundreds of years, not unlike all-non native Americans for example. They're considered the native people of New Zealand. Maori are certainly from New Zealand.

But interesting nevertheless, today I learned!
I almost lost that point because of that, and had to look on the web...
Thanks! Great quiz anyway!
Thanks
Thank You!
(Also would have like more spelling options on Macau)
