Finally! Abraham Lincoln correctly listed as a Kentuckian! -- Unfortunately, so is Harland Sanders, who is actually from Indiana. He did start his first fried chicken restaurant in Corbin KY as a sideline to his service station, but that wasn't until 1930, when he was 40 years old. He also moved around a lot before settling in Corbin, although he did live there a long time. Numerous ancestors of mine were neighbors and friends of his in those days, and Corbin proudly claims him since KFC started there, but it's not his hometown.
