I know I'm in the minority here but this is by far my least favorite Beatles song. I'd rather listen to Revolution 9 non-stop all day long than to this story of a pathetic, whining crybaby. "Oh, boo hoo, poor me, I'm so lonely, sad and miserable. Please feel bad for me" You know what, just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, be a man and get on with your life! What a loser. Paul should have stuck with "Scrambled Eggs."

Then i wonder why this is the Beatles song that has been covered so much. Maybe a lot of people like hearing whiny people sing??

I think it's probably because the vocals are the main instrument. Musically it's an interesting arrangement even if the lyrics are boring.

Eric, I see where you're coming from, the lyrics are pretty whiny. I just like the song because musically it's pleasing, but it's definitely not one of my favourites. Thoughts anyone?
