with that thought, why not say they should accept slovakia as well? but the truth of the matter neither should be accepted and the answer they have is correct...that is what the country that won that year was called

Czechoslovakia is not Czech Republic. Czechoslovakia is Czech Republic and Slovakia, two separate countries. Thats like saying Soviet Union and Russia are the same thing, but their not.
