There are a number of sugars with same molecular formula as glucose, such as fructose and galactose. Table sugar seems to be more specific that just "Sugar."

C12H22O11 is general table sugar and is called Sucrose

I agree. SiO2, silica can be found in other forms than quartz. For example silica gel. Silica is a synonym for SiO2, quartz is just one form of SiO2.

I found it odd that the mineral name for Si02 (quartz) was accepted, but the mineral names for CaCO3 (calcite) and Fe203 (hematite) were not... limestone does not have a definite chemical composition, as it is a rock and therefore a mineral aggregate. It's primary constituent, calcite, is CaCO3.

Why the hell are Silica for SiO2 and Calcium Carbonate for CaCO3 not accepted?

If NaCI is salt and not sodium chloride, then why is HCI muriatic acid and not hydrochloric acid?

My point is, if one compound is called its more well known name, then why aren't they all?
