Very good quiz. Even knew some of them, even if from the movies they were turned into.

Thanks for taking the quiz and commenting. Glad you liked it. I scored 37 I think after I made it and took a little time so I would forget the answers I just typed in. And yeah, some of the more memorable and well-known settings of these books are because of the movies they were turned into, I agree.

Nice quiz. Got 24 without any guessing. Missed "Hotel New Hampshire", haha. Should have gotten "Housekeeping" also.

Fun quiz. My MIL grew up near the location of The Painted House so I knew that one for certain.

This was one of my favorite quizzes so far. Many years ago I set out to read one book that took place in each state. A few are on this list. Funny, I could never find a book for Delaware. btw I only got 30. And there was plenty of time. ;)

Interesting quiz. I only got 11, so I learned a lot. A good and tricky clue for Michigan would be Stealing Buddha's Dinner which you would never expect to be set in Grand Rapids, MI.

For some reason I kept trying to place The Shining and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest on the east coast. Really fun quiz.

Thanks. It's a little hard, I think, as is. Though still fun. It would be better if I was able to add one of those charts to the right with little boxes for each state so you knew which ones had been checked off. If that happened it would be pretty fun and accessible for anyone I think.

I still haven't figured out how to do that. But I made my own boxes that serve sort of the same purpose. Still would be easier if the boxes were filled in and then turned grey..

Quizmaster, any help with this?

I am deeply heartened that only 11% of JetPunkers read Dan Brown novels.

there maybe be more or less of that because they may not have known where that book to place after they read it or they just guessed randomly or cheated or something.

this probably makes no sense.

Very good quiz, and challenging. I've read several of these and still got them wrong, sigh.
