Most Expensive Transfers in English Football by Year

For each season, guess the most expensive player transfer in English football and the team that bought him.
The purchasing team must be English; for example, Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer to Real Madrid from Man United would NOT be included in this quiz.
This is only concerning the Premier League era, which began with the 1992-93 season.
The actual fees are often undisclosed, so the most widely reported fee by the various news outlets will be used.
For this quiz, consider the last day of fixtures to be the last day of that respective season, therefore the next season begins the next day.
