Good quiz Ice! But surely there were alot more countries that were neutral than this. South American, Africa, Oceanian countries for instance. Maybe it could be neutral european countries.
Thank you. :) You can check, that all the islands in the world by 1945 were not sovereign countries except for 3 independent countries: Cuba, Haiti and Dominican Republic declare war in December 1941. All other islands was british/french/dutch/american colonies. In this quiz I mentioned in the green muslim countries. In the yellow buddhism countries. In the orange european states that was incorporated to USSR in August 1940. Really, there was only 15 neutral countries in world war II. Number of allies was 68.
Andorra was not neutral in WW2. It was still at war with Germany from WW1, having failed to sign the Treaty of Versailles. The Baltic States were not neutral either - or at any rate, no more neutral than Denmark, Norway, Belgium and Holland, all neutral countries invaded by one of the combatants.
