Most surprising here to me are the countries that are NOT on: I always think of Nepal, Bhutan and Bolivia as high countries, but they all have areas below 100 meters.

They surprised me too! Bhutan is ranked at 25th, Bolivia 28th and Nepal (70 m/230ft) is 31st.
