As far as million-plus cities goes, there's a place called Ufa in Russia, but that's it.

Great quiz! A little too hard for the front page, but I like the idea to add the "extra" cities. Scored 15/45

I suggest to change Lvov to Lviv, as Lviv is the Ukrainian name, and it's a Ukrainian city. Lvov is the Russian name. Wikipedia also uses primarily the name Lviv.

Tula, Russia is over 500.000 inhabitants. Tver, Russia, over 410.000 and from my humble opinion, they should be there. Hamm, Germany has population over 180.000. As mentioned in one of previous comments, Graz and Linz are must have.

The final column is not an exhaustive list of cities of <1,000,000 people. It is just a random sprinkling of them.

What a fantastic quiz! Got 38 without cheating and could have got three more! Why isn't it nominated?
