I thought Imladris was an old-fashioned name - I may be wrong, but doesn't Tolkien specify that it's obsolete - "a bit like calling Winchester Camelot" or something?

I may be wrong, but the ancient name of Minas Tirith should be Minas Anor, not Minas Arnor
