Irish and Scottish, really? Also what makes an accent "British?" Wales and Scotland are both British. If "North American," which presumably includes Bostonian, New Yorker, Midwestern, Californian, Cajun, New England, Texan, Southern, hillbilly, Mexican, Cuban, Puerto Rican, Navajo, Nova Scotian and French Canadian accents.... then why can't British include the accents of all the people on one tiny island?

For my money, Russian, Polish/East European, Israeli, Somali/most African accents and the majority of Latin American accents are all sexier than an Irish or Swedish accent. And I'd wager the average person can't even tell the difference between an English or Welsh accent.

I love Thai women... but they do often have hideous accents. Sometimes they're cute, though. Depends on how exaggerated the nasally-ness and pitch is.

I would have expected French and Italian to be on the top, maybe with Australian and "British" not far behind. Though personally I find British obnoxious.

You'd be surprised how sexy they can be, also British means a generic english accent, not like you'd find in somewhere like Newcastle or Liverpool, they're both english, but have their own distinct accents

There are tons of distinct accents even within the city of London so it's kind of hard to pin down what they mean. I guess they are talking about a "standard BBC" accent.. and North American probably means a generic "non-regional American" accent. Though I think both of those labels are misleading.

what israeli? west bank palestinian arabic, gazian arabic, golan hebrew, golan arabic, eilat hebrew, west bank hebrew, israeli armenian, yiddish, palestine hebrew, europeanized hebrew, jordan valley arabic or a standard hebrew?

Which mexican spanish dialect do you mean, our favorite nitpicking nerdy kalbahamut? is it chihuahuan mexican spanish, oaxacan, perhaps yucatanian? What about baja california mexican spanish? Maybe veracruz?

I hope that you'll provide an erudite and peer-reviewed answer, that will set the record straight!

If you're separating the different British countries, that should say "English" rather than British. Wales and Scotland are both part of Britain.

And nobody who is Irish, Welsh or Scottish ever called themselves British. Only English people do.

This quiz is authentic given we don't think of Scots as Brits usually but sometimes think of Welsh as Brits, even though they are just as British as the English. Im sure theres plenty of Americanisms you guys get wrong too lol.

I'm an American man, of Irish descent, and I'll admit that I've heard women speak in Irish accents on the radio and fell in love with their accents without even seeing them. I LOVE Irish accents and almost everything about Ireland (but maybe I'm biased...)

I was once told that the accent American women found most attractive is a Scottish accent. In addition, the same person told me that the accent Australian women find most attractive is a Southern American accent. Is this true, Australian women? Because that's what I've got and I love Australian accents ;)

British and North American "sexy"? Give me a break! - There's nothing sexy about the American accent and, to me, the British accent is incomprehensible.

I know its an opinion based quiz, but seriously? No diversity at all??? Not one country considered from Asia or Africa or South America. Whoever put this together needs to move their mindset and see the world more.

Grossly ignorant quiz, no matter how the survey answers were collected. Scotland and Wales are part of Britain. If you mean an English accent then call it that. And there are many English accents, Scottish accents and Irish accents, not to mention at least three Northern Irish accents, also British. One commentator leches after Thai women, just out of left field, just to make the whole thing creepy, and another is audacious enough to tell us nobody can distinguish Welsh from English accents. You'd think a presumably American survey would know better than to class all North US accents into one. I mean, how would you even think on doing that?
