But isn't "USA" the generally accepted name for the United States in JP? That brings in the America part. I kept trying "ca." Sigh...

Agreed. I couldn't figure out why "ca" didn't work. USA is the standard abbreviation in the quizzes I have taken, which make the last 2 letters "ca," not "es." Or at least accept both.

Did a quick test - in the countries of the world quiz, you don't get credit for US, only USA.

I agree, it might work better to allow both AR and MA to accept that answer. (Maybe with one or two other countries too - eg IA for Czechia). Did you notice that today quizmaster reset the country name on featured quizzes from Burma to Myanmar?

Yes but i think i will only consider that for future quizzes! In this one there are other countries ending with AR and MA so I guess its not much of a problem
