Magneto's name "Erik" is always spelled with a "k" not a "c". Anyways good quiz overall!

Missed Dick and Rick. Also would think that Norman Osbourn is better known than Harry, but I'm not a big Spiderman fan or anything so I don't know.

Yeah, Norman Osborn would make way more sense.

Level 45

Norman Osborn is the alter ego(ish) of the main supervillain in Spider-Man, and his son Harry is Peter Parker's best friend. They both show up a lot, and they're both important. It's pretty even.

Tried several variations of Katherine before I tried Kitty for Ms. Pryde - could that be added as acceptable please?

As much as I love Deadpool, I'd say Slade Wilson (Deathstroke) is probably the more famous of the 2. Especially with the Green Arrow TV show, and the major part he played in the second season.

Really? I haven't read all that much DC, but I'd say Deadpool is better known, especially to people who don't read comics, even if it's just from that unbelievably bad movie.

Level 29

I would say Slade is more well known

I'm sure a lot more people have seen X-Men Origins: Wolverine than have seen the Green Arrow TV show, and though we'd all like to forget about it there just aren't enough adamantium bullets to go around.

Deadpool played a small role in the movie, and Slade plays a huge role in Arrow (the major villain in the second season). And of course, those aren't the only places people could know them from.

Level 50

I'd say Slade is a lot more popular, not just because of the Arrow TV show but also from the Batman Arkham Origins Game where he was heavily advertised. Also Deadpool is a rip off of Deathstroke

Level 45

Whoever Slade Wilson is, whoever Deathstroke is, I don't know and I don't really care. Deadpool is THE BEST. And it's funny that I like him so much because when it comes to other comic book characters or TV shows or movies or whatever with superheroes... I really don't care.

And now, many years later, after Deadpool and Deadpool 2, there's no way in hell you could argue that Slade Wilson is as famous as Wade.

Level 71

Although the Deadpool character is certainly more famous by now, Slade Wilson the Terminator is far from obscure and still definitely a 'hot' character (his first appearance in New Teen Titans #2 from the 1980 series being far more valuable than #1 or any of the rest in that series), and has been around for more than a decade longer than Deadpool, so I think that the creator of this quiz suffered from a minor oversight when creating that one item. So, generally, yes, I agree with you.

I gotta second this and strongly support accepting Sam Wilson. Introduced in 1969, he was the comic book sidekick of Captain America, and absolutely historical for being the first African-American superhero. A full-fledged Avenger, Sam also actually *became* Captain America in 2014, being hand-picked by retiring Steve Rogers as his replacement. On the movie end of things, Anthony Mackie stars as Sam Wilson in the multi-billion-dollar Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise; he just completed his third movie appearance this summer in "Captain America: Civil War".

Bucky Barnes is not Bucky's actual name it's James Buchanan Barnes. The Bucky came from his middle name.

Can we please change this as I was typing in Barnes actual first name not his nickname

I was trying several variations of "Rick" in Rider for a while until I slap my forehead and get my 100%.

Also, Walter, in Kovacs, just came to me and later I had to search who he was...

Especially now that Falcon and the Winter Soldier probably has him on more people's minds. Similarly, Bucky isn't Buchanan's actual first name so perhaps James could also be a type-in?
