Rearrange the letters in the grid on the left to make one significant 9-letter world location. In addition to this - drawing only from these 9 letters - solve each geographical answer from the clues given.
Each grid letter may be used only once within an individual answer
I had no idea what was being asked for by 'Geographically behind' and 'Geographically to the rear'. How are those answers specifically geographical? They just seem like straight up synonyms.
I was also confused at first. I tried south for geographically beneath (without scrolling up to look at the available letters) but then I eventually worked it out. I think “physically” might be a better word than “geographically”.
Got stuck on the 9-letter place after I made up the concept of a place called Hinduberg. Took way to long to clear that thought, but eventually got the real answer.
Could you please accept Erg for sand hill? This might be a specific term but it's every bit as accurate for describing a sand hill than the current answer, and it's possible to create the word with the allowed letters.
I liked these quizzes, but they should have finished at #4. The previous one (#5 I think - what happened to #6 and #7?) had the ridiculous "Geographically close" clue which signalled the jumping of the shark. This one just went off the scale with that, in addition to some dubious others (grid, guide(!), den).
Will you be okay? Do I need to give you a number to call for emotional support?
Those two clues were definitely a stretch, I'll admit. Finding 20 good geographical answers in each of these puzzles was challenging. I opted for those ones because I just liked the fact that the two related answers could both be made with the given letters. Those were desperate times. #6 and #7 in the series were done by jerry928.
Quit while you're ahead, kids.
